COVID-19: UPDATE FOR 04.02.2021

FRIDAY, APRIL 2, 2021

Thankfully, we’ve not needed to do much for COVID-19 updates since late last year. Based on our governor’s latest update to our state’s mandate(s), I’ve conversed with our leadership team here at Calvary Chapel in the Ozarks about what our next step(s) might be. We have concluded that CCO is going to leave it up to you personally to decide whether or not you should wear a face-covering while on site.

We’ll continue to monitor the situation and keep you posted along the way. We are also—and I trust this is super obvious—asking you to continue to be gracious to those around you who have differing opinions. As the English like to say, this whole thing is a “dog’s dinner,” which is to say, it’s an absolute mess of a situation. Having said that, our fellowship with one another does not need to be a mess. Let’s be way better than civil, let’s be LOVING one to another. Let’s go well beyond courtesy and consideration—those should provide a foundational starting point—and show charity to one another.

Tons of blessing,

Pastor Jeremy
